Brenda details her own composition process, the work of commissions and the challenge of balancing her cultural voice with the structured space of classical music. She emphasises the role of collaboration in her career, including her work with Ngarra-Burria: First Peoples Composers, a project to help First Peoples develop industry skills and connections in the new music and classical composition arenas.
