  • Scope and Content
This collection of oral history interviews documents the lives of key figures in the classical and art music industry in New South Wales and reveals how their careers have influenced the cultural life of the state, helped establish Australia’s artistic presence in the world and continue to evolve the industry today.
Interviewees include administrators, conductors, composers and performers. While the careers of many interviewees blend more than one of these roles, and often the simultaneous job of educator, they are described here according to the specialisation for which they were chosen.
