    Emily Sun reflects on her family background, her parents living in China during the Cultural Revolution, her father's sudden death and her education at Methodist Ladies College in Sydney, New South Wales. Sun talks about her role in Robert Connolly's 2011 documentary film, 'Mrs. Carey's concert', and the influence of early teachers and supporters.

    Sun discusses in detail her artist-in-residency with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, her engagements with Australian state symphony orchestras, engaging with Australian and international agents, Elena Kats-Chernin's violin concerto written for her, her role as Professor of Violin at the Royal College of Music, London and others.
