  • General note

While traditionally popular in the USA and northern hemisphere countries, Halloween has become increasingly prevalent in Australia in recent years, with Halloween festivities, decorations, and 'trick or treating' activities.

The Lithgow Halloween Festival is the largest such event in Australia. The main street is taken over by street stalls, performers and live bands. The event culminates in a street parade and best dressed competition.
