    Part 1:
    Acted as Patrick White’s agent for 15 years in the 1970s and 1980s. He discussed White’s writing routine, winning the Nobel Prize in 1973, dealing with the media, translation rights and publishing deals. David Marr biography. Other writers and estates he represented include David Williamson, Xavier Herbert, Norman Lindsay estate, May Gibbs. He also discusses Raw Lawler's 'The Summer of the Seventeenth Doll' and the 1985 Sydney Theatre Company production starring Ruth Cracknell. Tim talks about working at Curtis Brown and his 25th anniversary in 1996, his approach to negotiations and the lessons learned from being a literary agent.

    Part 2:
    Tim discusses leaving Curtis Brown, client list and being a consultant for Curtis Brown after retirement and health. Experience being a judge for NSW Premier’s Literary Awards and working with the Australia Council for the Arts. Participating in international book fairs in Frankfurt and Bologna. Comments about editorial support for writers having decreased, and changes in the industry in both Sydney and London, especially at Curtis Brown. Now there are more women than men as editors and managers in publishing now, digital age and changes to work. Reflects on his long career.
