He talks about his early music activities and lessons in Adelaide, participating in the National Music Camp and Australian Youth Orchestra in Osaka, Japan for the World Expo, 1970. Askill speaks about his time studying in France and New York, USA, and the musicians with whom he was collaborated and met. He talks about his personal life, including his two marriages, children and grandchildren, his interest in Buddhism, particularly Tibetan Buddhism.
