    Richard Letts (1935-), born in Sydney, New South Wales is a pianist, music advocate and administrator. His directorship include: East Bay Centre for the Arts, Berkeley, California, 1972-1980; MacPhail Centre for Music, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 1980-1982; Music Board of the Australia Council, 1982-1987; Australian Music Centre, 1987-1994; Music Council of Australia, 1994-1997; and The Music Trust, 1997-2023.
