  Nadia Wassef describes her family background and upbringing in Cairo, Egypt and her reasons to migrate to Australia. She talks about the impacts of Covid-19 on her daily life including work as an English teacher. Wassef discusses in detail the impact of working from home and teaching online, and the changes required to adjust to this style of teaching. She describes the anxieties and challenges some of her students experienced in daily life and online learning during the pandemic.
