  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

The children’s book "Sun and Moon” is a first time collaboration between artist Bronwyn Bancroft and her daughter, author Ella Noah Bancroft.

Bancroft describes the book as: "reinterpreting and reinventing Bundjalung stories in a contemporary context using language. The Story is about two siblings, Baribun and Buhwi Bira, who despite their differences learn to work together and be in tune with one another...and in their own right. The story reflects the way the Sun and Moon interact across the sky, but also holds an important truth for how we relate to eachother as people", Bronwyn Bancroft, 2021.
