Items received by Mrs Mirrie Irma Hill as an Ordinary Officer of the Civil Division of the Order of the British Empire, comprising medal with ribbon in a case, certificate signed by Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, warrant of appointment and booklet 'Statutes of the most excellent Order of the British Empire 1970'.

Medal is inscribed 'For God and the Empire.' Inscribed on reverse 'GRI.'
Medal is attached to crimson ribbon edged in grey, tied into a bow; fringe on edge of ties.
'Thomas Fattorini, Regent St Birmingham B1 3HQ England' is printed on inside lid of case.
