    Maureen Flanagan (1922-2018) was the first child of singer Isolde Hill (1898-1977) and Joseph Flanagan. Isolde Hill was the first child of composer Alfred Hill (1869-1960) and his first wife, Sarah Brownhill Booth. Mirrie Hill (1889-1986), composer, married Alfred Hill in 1921.

    Folder 3: Graphic material, 1926 and undated, including photograph of Alfred Hill by May and Mina Moore; photographs of two painted portraits of Alfred Hill, one of the portraits signed by Mabel Hill (1926); series of pencil, pastel and watercolour portraits (unidentified, but some may be of Mirrie), probably by Mabel Hill.

    Folder 7: Writings of Mirrie Hill, 1968-1982 and undated, being mainly poetry and lyrics for her compositions. Includes incomplete manuscript of a short story ‘The earth does not give – we take’ (1976). Also includes poetry collected.

    Folder 3: Financial documents, 1929-1984, including copies of some Income Tax returns, statement of account for Alfred Hill’s Estate up to May 1974, and four pass books for bank accounts, 1962-1981.
