Rodrigo Wood is the eldest son of Norman Wood, in 1982 he was manager of a Paraguayan merchant bank, Progreso. After the 1989 Stroessner coup he continued as a financier and developer and owned a cattle ranch in the Chaco region. Rodrigo Wood became President of the Cricket Club of Asuncion and tended to be the chief spokesperson for the Wood family and indeed for Australian descendants in Paraguay. - Scope and ContentIn this interview, Rodrigo Wood talks about why his grandparents came to Paraguay, the revolution among the shearers, the name of New Australia changed.
