  • Scope and Content
    The illuminated address shows 1 mounted watercolour of various colour inks on paper recognising Goodchap’s work as Railways Commissioner. Illuminated by Turner & Henderson of Sydney in November 1888 it depicts the Zig Zag Railway at Lithgow and an armorial crest and bears eight signatures including that of Edmund Barton, W.B. Walford, G. Want, G. Munro and J. Macgregor Dunn.

    The other mounted item is a list of 135 names of the 'General Committee'.

    The address is presented in the original presentation album of red morocco with embossed gilt borders.
