Robert Reti born in Budapest, Hungary, 1936. Father and other relatives called up by Hungarian army for forced labour during war. After Germans took over Hungary in March 1944, family had to move to Jewish House. In December forced into ghetto. Bombing of Budapest and time spent in bunkers. When Russians occupied Hungary, family moved back first to the Jewish house and then to original family apartment. Went back to school. In 1956 left Hungary, first going to Vienna and then to the Dominican Republic where he had relatives. Studied Industrial Chemistry and migrated to Australia 1959. - Copying ConditionsIn copyright:
