Eva Nagler, nee Ginat, born in Lodz, Poland, 1926. During war: in Lodz Ghetto, in concentration camps of Auschwitz, and Stutthof and Schippenbeil in Germany, on Death March to Baltic Sea, escaped execution of prisoners by Ukranian guards, went into hiding but discovered with others and again escaped being shot, joined French sabateurs in forest, early 1945 worked in hospital in Pillau, Prussia, on false papers, Russian occupation. After war: walk home amongst thousands of refugees, aliya to Israel via Italy in 1946. Migrated to Australia in 1952. - Copying ConditionsIn copyright:
