Marijana Munk, nee Demajo, was born in Vienna, Austria in 1918, but grew up in Yugoslavia. She lived in Belgrade between 1939 and 1941. Her first husband was shot by the Gestapo in 1941. Marijana escaped to Pristina, and then fled to Durazzo and later Tirana (Albania) until 1945. In 1948 she returned to Belgrade, before emigrating to Israel on the ship Kefalos. Marijana lived in Tivon (Israel) until 1953 when she returned to Salzburg (Austria) before immigrating to Australia in 1955. - Copying ConditionsIn copyright:
