Lisbeth (Lisl) Hurst, nee Stern, was born in Vienna, Austria in 1921. She volunteered to work in Tangermunde (Germany) and Nordhausen (Germany) in about 1940 or 1941. Lisbeth was interned firstly in Ricse Tabor (Hungary) between 1942 and 1944, then in Auschwitz/Gleiwitz between 1944-1945, and finally in Theresienstadt (Terezin, Czechoslovakia) 1945.
