  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Edith Adler, nee Gross, was born in 1924 in Brno, Czechoslovakia. She married in 1941 and in May of that year was deported with her husband and parents to Theresienstadt (Terezin, Czechoslovakia) where she remained until 1944. Edith was then sent to Auschwitz for 10 days, and later to Freiberg (Germany) and Mauthausen (Austria) until liberation in May 1945. She returned to Czechoslovakia, leaving to live in Israel from 1949 until 1959. Edith emigrated to Australia 1959.
