Kurt Fuchs was born in Vienna, Austria in 1925. Arrested with his family in 1942, he was sent first to Auschwitz, then to Buchenwald. Kurt was liberated in 1945. He lived in Britain between 1946 and 1948, before emigrating to New Zealand in 1948. He moved to Australia in 1987.
