Published in Walkabout, April 1936: "Pictorial Tour Camooweal to Alice Springs", p. 37, photo 7, caption "(at another well) … we found stock being watered, the water being drawn to the surface by the primitive, but extremely effective, device of a horse hauling on a steel cable to which buckets were attached. Photographer probably Roy Dunstan.
