  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Pitt Street Uniting Church was fonded in 1833 as a Congregational Church. In 1846, the congregation moved to the present building which was expanded in size and design in 1867. In 1928 Church House (now Pilgrim House) was erected, its tenants being both church and community organisations. The Church has been a Uniting Church since the Union of the Congregational, Methodist and Presbyterian Churches in 1977.
