  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Between 2000 and 2003, as well as presenting their long running weekly radio show ‘This Sporting Life’ on Triple J, Greig Pickhaver and John Doyle made several television programs broadcast on Channel 7, including: ‘The Dream’ (Sydney Olympic Games); ‘The Monday Dump’; ‘The Ice Dream’ (Winter Olympics, Salt Lake City, Utah); ‘The Cream’ (Rugby World Cup).They also continued their annual call of the State of Origin matches and the rugby league and AFL grand finals (Festival of the Boot) on Triple J. At the 2001 Awgie Awards they were presented with the Fred Parsons Award for special contribution to Australian comedy. Pickhaver also had a role in the Australian film ‘The Honourable Wally Norman’ released in 2003.
