• Scope and Content
  This portrait is believed to be Mrs Eliza Peed (nee Robinson, b.1827) second daughter of George Augustus Robinson and his first wife Maria Amelia Robinson (nee Evans). She gave birth to a daughter in 1845 and later married Christopher B. Peed between 1849-1851 but had no further children. This could also possibly be a portrait of her elder sister Maria Amelia Allen (nee Robinson, b.1818?) who married Dr James Allen.
