Dr Milton Edgeworth Osborne AM is an Australian historian, author and academic. He was a diplomat in Southeast Asia and public servant in Canberra at the Office of National Assessments, where for 11 years he was Head of Asia Branch.

Osborne has published 13 books on the history and politics of Southeast Asia and has also worked as a consultant to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. He was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in the 2021 Australia Day Honours for 'significant service to history as an author.'

Dr Christopher Kremmer is Senior Lecturer in Journalism and convener of Literary Journalism in the School of the Arts and Media at the University of New South Wales. He has written several monographs on the history and culture of Asia. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Australia India Institute, and former president of the Foreign Correspondents' Association of South Asia. From 1993-1995 he was the ABC correspondent at Hanoi, Vietnam, and was also the New Delhi-based ABC South Asia correspondent.
