  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Henry William Hemsworth Huntington was born at Burnley Hall, United Kingdom. He was Chief Clerk at the old Central Police Court and later occupied a position in the Supreme Court. Huntington was a member of the Royal Australian Historical Society. He died 28 October 1926.

    Thomas Rowley (1747-1806) was appointed adjutant of the New South Wales Corps, 1789 and promoted Lieutenant, 1791. He became Captain at Port Jackson, 1792.
