    This second interview session focuses on many of Ursula Dubosarsky’s novels in detail, including how they begin, influences, stumbling blocks - particularly around the plots, the input of editors, different themes in her work, and her affinity with Jewish culture.

    Ursula discusses her role as the Australian Children’s Laureate during the years of COVID-19 lockdowns, and the importance of libraries in encouraging children to read. She finishes with a brief outline of her writing plans for the immediate future.
