  • General note

The Paddy’s Markets site is being redesigned by Sydney Markets Limited after the organisation successfully won a battle in the NSW Supreme Court with stallholders. They plan to redevelop the site into an upmarket food and beverage precinct, with existing stallholders relocating internally.

Paddy’s Markets has historically offered affordable goods including clothing, jewellery, beauty products, accessories, gifts, souvenirs, and gadgets. The fresh food precinct supplies fruit and vegetables, including produce that is difficult to find in mainstream supermarkets, fresh seafood, and a butcher. Many locals have been purchasing reasonably priced goods and produce from Paddy’s for decades.
