New Italy is a village south of Woodburn in the Northern Rivers region. It derived its name from a group of Italians who occupied land there in 1882. The 2024 Anniversary Celebration Day was held at Historic New Italy.

LisAmore! (Lismore Friendship Festival Inc.) celebrates Lismore's Italian cultural heritage. In 2024, the event was held at the Turf Club, Lismore.
