Walter Euston Glover was born on 20 March 1949. He worked for ABC in the 1970s, taking publicity images in the Countdown studio. He then worked as a photographer's assistant and dark room operator for studio photographers during the 1970s and 1980s. As a photographer in his own right, his images were published in Encore, Picture, Australian Penthouse and Ozbike magazines, as well as promotional images for theatrical productions including West Side Story. He died on 21 March 2022 in Leichhardt, Sydney.

The donor was a long-time friend of Walter Glover and inherited his photographic collection from him and another friend, Albert Erzetich.
