Parramatta Light Rail is a major infrastructure project by the NSW Government, with Stage 1 connecting Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta Central Business District. Extensive testing of the Light Rail was undertaken, to ensure the safety and reliability of the vehicles and system before services commence.

The new Powerhouse Museum in Parramatta, Powerhouse Parramatta, is a large NSW infrastructure project to build the first major cultural institution precinct in Western Sydney.
