  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

The Earthworks Poster Collective, originally the Earthworks Poster Company, was created by Colin Little (1952-1982) as the head of a group of experimental artists looking to advocate for political, social and cultural change. It was based at the Tin Sheds Art Workshop at the University of Sydney and was active between 1972 and 1980. It is generally considered to have been the principal driving force of Australian political poster art in the 1970s.
