    Jack (John Thomas) Dunleavy (1889-1964) was a boxer, trainer and fight manager/promoter who was born in St. Leonards, New South Wales. He trained under Billy Dibbs and became known as the ‘Australian Marvel’ during his time fighting in America. When his career ended Dunleavy established a gymnasium in Sydney where he trained, among others, Jack Haines, George Barnes, Dick Humphreys and Merv Blandon.
