    Dr Mihal Guttman-Jones has been one of the leaders in the recent cultural shift in gender affirming healthcare in NSW and was instrumental in introducing the informed consent model of care for hormone prescribing in the state. As well as seeing trans patients in private practice, they work in the criminal justice system, providing gender affirming care to incarcerated trans people as part of their role. They are neurodiverse, trans, and Jewish, and come from a family of holocaust survivors.
