    Australian painter Frank Hinder (1906-1992) was the son of Enid Marguerite Pockley (1879-1970) and Dr Henry Vincent Critchley Hinder (1865–1913). After Dr Hinder died in 1913, Marguerite married Robert Holloway in 1916.

    This painting was created by artist in residence Hadyn Wilson as a response to the portrait of Enid Margeurite Pockley, c 1920s, Mitchell Library call no. ML 1335 and displayed with Wood from the tree where the Holy Family stayed near Cairo on their flight to Egypt, collected c 1940s, Mitchell Library call no. R 929 Item 9 and Flight into Egypt by Frank Hinder, 1952 reproduction courtesy of Art Gallery of Western Australia in Fake Truths: An Historical Novel exhibition at the State Library of New South Wales 2021.
