    This painting and letter were created by artist in residence Hadyn Wilson as a response to a drawing of Bertha Lawson by Florence Rodway, c 1913, Mitchell Library call no. ML 956 and was displayed with Python snakeskin & scroll bearing the membership list of the Australian Society of Black Snakes, April 1910, Mitchell Library call no. DR 63 and Gum leaf posted to Henry Lawson Esq, Bulletin Office, Sydney, c 1890s, Mitchell Library call no. R 236 in Fake Truths: An Historical Novel exhibition at the State Library of New South Wales 2021.
