Digital manuscript comprising a progressive account of squatting and the occupation of Crown lands outside the 19 counties pre-1861 and the Robertson Land Act in the colony of New South Wales. Max Thomas, the author, has concentrated mostly on the central west and the Lachlan Region, which is the area in which he has lived and worked. The manuscript also includes a section titled 'Aboriginal Names for Runs'
