Born in Budapest, Hungary, Mary Ann Forrester and her husband Ervin emigrated to Australia in March 1950 and settled in Sydney. Ervin and Mary Ann built a business and a life in Summer Hill, Neutral Bay and Roseville and had two sons, Peter and Ron.
