  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

Glitta Supernova (1971- ) is a multi-award winning producer and performance artist. She co-founded and managed the women's strip club Gurlesque in 2000-2010, co-founded ‘Pretty Peepers Cabaret’ at the Imperial Hotel in 2011 and toured the performance art show, ‘The Untraditional Cabaret’, across Australia's major cities and regional areas. Glitta has also co-written and produced two multi-award winning one woman shows, ‘Let's get Metaphysical’ and ‘Bodymap’, which have toured internationally with the Fringe Festival.

The lack of queer events, services and community in regional New South Wales prompted her to establish the Naughty Noodle Fun Haus queer arts space and Coastal Twist LGBTIQ+ Festival on the Central Coast with her long-term partner Juan. Glitta was a finalist in the New South Wales Women of the Year Award, Community Hero category in 2020.
