• Scope and Content
  Jan talks about her career as a cooking teacher for the Australian Gas Light Company from the 1960s onwards and also her role as one of the founding member of the NSW Cake Decorating Guild that was established in 1979. She mentions starting the Guild for people with similar interests to get together and improve the standards of cake decorating, improve methods and to encourage manufacturers to provide different equipment and products. Jan then talks about her role as a cake decorating and cooking judge for the Agricultural Shows of NSW with an emphasis on the Royal Easter Show.
