  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

May Ellen Victoria Watson graduated from the University of Queensland and first registered as an architect in Queensland in 1964. Following her move to New South Wales Watson partnered with her husband, architect William Donald Turner, in architectural practice. They designed houses, community centres, and medical buildings such as medical practices and radiology units. Their designs often featured unconventional, complex and unpredictable roof forms, representing the experimental housing forms that appeared in Australia from the 1950s onwards.
