  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Gerard Windsor (1944 -) is an Australian author and literary critic. He was educated at St Ignatius’ College, Riverview, where he was Dux in 1961 and 1962. After leaving school he trained for six years as a Jesuit before realising it was not his vocation. He studied Arts at the Australian National University and Sydney University, before briefly studying medicine. He has published twelve books, including fiction, non-fiction, compilations of essays, stories and memoirs. His short stories, articles and reviews have appeared in numerous anthologies, literary journals, and newspapers. In 2005 he was awarded the Pascall Prize for Critical Writing.
