- Scope and ContentIn this interview, Greg Watkins talks about his upbringing in Hobart, Canberra, Adelaide and Sydney, and his family. He discusses his experience of gradually losing his hearing and being diagnosed with mild to moderate hearing loss at 40 years of age and the associated challenges. Watkins talks about his PhD, which analysed the accuracy of prediction for Cochlear Implants to improve individual performance for users. He discusses in detail his experiences having the Cochlear Implants inserted, the maintenance required to use them effectively, and the life changing impacts.
