  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    The Weldrick family were descendants of William Heny Weldrick (d.1955) and Ruth Rebecca Weldrick. They had eight children Harry, Nellie (Mrs J.Liversidge) Emily (Mrs. W. Poland), Joseph (d. 1953), William, Bessie (Mrs. J. McMurtrie), Elsie and Frank. They moved from Woonoona to Kembla Heights NSW in 1912 when William Weldrick (1901-1995) commenced work as a miner with the Mt Kembla Coal and Oil Company. The family later moved to Lithgow.
