    E. A. (Erich Anthony) Romer (1921-2014) was a returning officer in the electoral districts of Phillip and Bligh for the NSW general elections during the 1960s. As a returning officer he was responsible for the conduct of the election within each district.
    Raised in the Sutherland Shire, Erich enlisted in the Australian Military Forces in 1941 and was based at the Fortress Workshops in Newcastle, New South Wales before being transferred to Darwin in the Northern Territory.
