  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Peter Corris (1942-2018) was born in Stawell, Victoria. He completed a PhD in history from the Australian National University and began his career as a lecturer and researcher. Corris became a full time writer after the success of his first novel, 'The dying trade'. Corris was awarded the Ned Kelly Lifetime Achievement Award from the Crime Writers Association of Australia for his Cliff Hardy crime series. 'White meat', 'The luck of Clem Carter' and 'The Mongol scroll' are stories from the Cliff Hardy crime series.

    This collection comprises of various Peter Corris screenplay manuscripts, chiefly for his novel 'White meat'.

    2 screen plays for 'White meat' including, a book scene breakdown, and a screenplay with pasted down typescript edits
