    Robert French (he/him) was a member of gay and lesbian campus groups since 1971, but became actively involved in gay politics after the first Mardi Gras in Sydney, New South Wales, 1978. As an archivist, French began to develop policy to collect gay history in Australia.

    Scott McKinnon is a historian with a research background in oral history, environmental history and histories of sexuality. McKinnon has been awarded the Oral History Australia Media Award, 2019 and the Nancy Keesing Fellowship at the State Library of New South Wales, 2021. He is the vice president of Sydney's Pride History Group and Oral History New South Wales.
