Bernard Cohen is an Australian author, writer and essayist who has published several novels including Tourism (1992), The Blindman's Hat (1996), Snowdome (1998) and Hardly Beach Weather (2002). Antibiography of Robert F. Menzies (2013) was completed as part of Cohen's post-doctoral thesis at University of Technology in 2013 and is a result of several years of writing and research beginning in the 1990s. In 2001, Cohen received an Arts Council of England Writer's Award for a draft of the work which allowed him to research further, including at the Menzies Research Centre for Australian Studies in London. Following publication of the novel in 2013, Cohen received the Russell Prize for Humour Writing, awarded in July 2015.
