Gerrit Fokkema is a New Guinea-born, Sydney-based photographer who has worked as a staff photographer at The Canberra Times, Sydney Morning Herald and the Good Weekend Magazine.
Gerrit's work is held in the collections of the Australian National Gallery, Art Gallery of NSW, State Library of NSW, and the National Gallery of Victoria and has been exhibited at the Australian Centre for Photography, a number of commercial galleries and included in group exhibitions at photography festivals.
