  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Ivy Rubenia Burnham (d.1987), performer and showgirl, was born in Sydney. Between 1915 and 1919 she appeared in costume at various events to raise funds. In 1920 she was a member of the Jolson Revue Company, playing at Melbourne's Tivoli; she then appeared in Gloucester, NSW, with Aussies and Coy, singers and comedians. In 1923-1924 she returned to Melbourne as a showgirl in 'The O'Brien Girl' and as a cast member in the musical comedy 'Little Nellie Kelly'. Ivy Burnham died in NSW in 1987.
