John 'Jack' Lindsay (1900-1990) was the eldest son of Norman Lindsay and Kathleen Agatha nee Parkinson. He married Janet Beaton, granddaughter of W.B. Dalley on 27 October 1922, but left her in 1926 to set up Fanfrolico Press with John Kirtley. Lindsay converted to Marxism in 1936 and was politically active and writing extensively during and after World War II.

Philip Lindsay (1906-1958) was the third son of Norman and Kathleen Lindsay. Although he attended Sydney Art School, he realised his interest was in history and literature and became a writer.

Ruby Lindsay (1885-1919), was Jack Lindsay's aunt, sister of Norman Lindsay. She attended the National Gallery School in Melbourne, Victoria and had a career as an illustrator.
